I was determined to be in the foreign service, working in Paris and eating baguettes every day. I was also working in politics at the Georgia State Senate and lobbying with my alma mater, Georgia Tech.

Then I moved with my then-fiancé to West Virginia to run an off-road park and I fell in love with small businesses and helping them succeed. It takes a special person to run a small businesses and it turns out, I love those people. I am that person.

Now I wouldn’t change one small piece of my life as a small business owner, mom of two wild ones and wife to an incredible man. I love my life of moming, biking gardening, running, reading, cooking, sunset watching, sewing, traveling, whisky drinking, and trying new things.

Let me share all of the lessons I’ve learned, the tools I’ve tested, the knowledge I’ve gained. I really believe you can do this. I just want to help you get there.
